David Fincher

David Fincher, the Director behind awesome films such as Se7en, Fight Club, The Social Network etc. Has a specific style to Directing, which I love - he used soundtrack quite brilliantly in his films, his opening sequences are incredibly audience hooking and he hasoften allowed his characters to have voice over monolgues which is one technique which I plan on using in my opening.

The reason I like this technique so much is that 1) It makes the film/what the audience is watching far more personal and almost more real for the audience to witness and 2) It's an incredibly quirky technique that almost gives the audience the upper hand, knowing what's inside their head.

David Fincher is one of my favourite Directors (along side Tim Burton and Mark Webb) and I plan on using some of his 'famous' techniques in my opening sequence.

I should probably point out that I don't plan on copying him - I plan on created my own style of film/opening which I will keep consistant through out the footage filmed however, I would like to state that David Fincher is some what of an inspiration to me and this project.
